Emmanuel Lamptey is the Executive Director of Media Initiative Ghana, an independent Marketing Communication and Channel Planning Agency member of The Advantage Group. He is an ordained Minister of the Gospel of Christ and a product of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Business and Finance (Strategic Management Option) from the Rothchild’s Executive School, Ghana.
Emmanuel Lamptey has been working in marketing communication since 1998, especially in brand building, research, strategy development, and channel planning across different sectors, including FMCG, Health, Finance, Telecom, Oil & Gas, Textiles, and Automobiles. He has worked on a variety of projects for a host of clients. These includes: Stop AIDS, Love Life (JHU), Roll Back Malaria, Complementary Feeding (PATH), the introduction of a biometric driver’s license (DVLA), Life Choices (JHU/BCS and partners), Ghana Telecom /Launch of Vodafone (Ghana Telecom), launch of E-ZWICH (GhIPSS), Omo door to door community engagement (Unilever), re-launch of Peak Milk in Ghana and Togo (Friesland). He has also worked on clients Malta Guinness and Alvaro (GGBL), BMW and Ford (Mechanical Lloyd), GTP African Prints, Nustyle for TexStyles Ghana, and many others.
He was a member of the GAMPS research team made up of representatives from AAG, Ghana Advertisers’ Board, and Ghana Media Owners Association. He was also one of the team Leaders on The Faces of Ghana Study – An LSM Profiling Study across Ghana in 2014.
Emmanuel Lamptey’s strength in making brands visible and attractive cannot be
overemphasized. Some of his leadership traits are clear Communication and
organizations skills, strong will to uphold and defend ethics and standards, ability tonurture and growth both in people development and companies’ bottom line as well as his ability to keep his mind open, adapt to change and lead the change to make a lasting and positive impact in every space he finds himself.
