Samuel Nii Darku Duodu is a seasoned business leader with two decades of experience driving growth and innovation in the advertising industry.
As Country Manager at Ogilvy Africa Ghana Ltd., he provides strategic leadership and guides the overall direction of the company, overseeing operations across all functional areas, including talent development, client relationships, and marketing strategy.
His prior roles at Publicis West Africa Ltd., including Managing Partner and Business Director, further demonstrate his leadership expertise, showcasing his ability to build high-performing teams, develop winning strategies, and lead impactful initiatives across more than 20 countries in West and Central Africa. His portfolio covers a diverse range of clients, including automotive, FMCG, banking and insurance, beauty and personal care, developmental agencies, and telecommunications. At Publicis, he successfully launched the Starcom media offering and reduced reliance on a single anchor client, significantly increasing client diversity.
Ni Darku’s commitment to client diversification and award-winning campaign development for prominent brands like P&G, Western Union, and Nestle – a testament to his creative vision – makes him a valuable asset to any governing body. He is also a part-time advertising lecturer at the University of Media, Arts and Communication, where he nurtures the next generation of industry professionals.
